![]() ![]() LAPD Devonshire PALS offers after school enrichment programs with LAPD. We are recognized as a local neighborhood 501 (c) (3) non-profit. PALS has up to a 25 member board of directors who selflessly donate hundreds of hours to lead our committees and manage our nonprofit organization supporting Devonshire PALS with their time, talent and treasure. Since 1973, LAPD Devonshire PALS has forged a partnership between the LAPD and community leaders in an effort to reduce juvenile crime, prevent gang activity and build character in young children and teens. LAPD's four Traffic Divisions (Central, South, West and Valley), previously working under the regional bureaus, were reassigned, along with Transit Services Division, to Transit Services Bureau.Devonshire PALS is extremely proud of the countless individuals who support our organization. On January 4, 2009, Olympic Division and Topanga Division became the latest of LAPD's 21 community divisions. The Program is offered at each of the 21 community police stations across the city, as well as two specialized divisions Metropolitan Division and Communications Division.
